We also welcome residents who require minimal assistance with daily living but want the security and peace of mind of knowing that our staff will attend to their health care and daily living needs as they arise. Residents in this program can stay at Taylorville Care Center to receive therapy until they are ready and able to return to their own homes. We encourage family pictures, artwork, and special items that will make a room feel like home. For an additional fee, we also have private room available. Our registered dietitians prepare delicious, nutritional daily meals and snacks for our residents. We consider specific diets and personal preferences to provide meals that our residents enjoy. We offer a wide variety of meals that take advantage of the special tastes of each season. We serve our meals in our attractive dining room that features linens and china place settings to enhance the dining experience. enhance the meals where our courteous staff serves meals tableside. And if a resident is unable to come to the dining room, room service is also available. Our goal is to provide an activity program that identifies each resident's own personal interests and abilities. Our residents are especially proud of our “Knots of Love” program, where they make blankets for children who are being treated in a local hospital. These blankets are well received and help the children feel better.
